1/2 Medium Head Of Cabbage
1 medium Onion
1 lb.Hickory Smoked Bacon
3 Large Baking Potatoes
2 -- 5or 6 oz. pkg of Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 Pint of Heavy Whipping Cream
Garlic Salt
Salt
Black Pepper

Cut the potatoes into 1/8 inch slices and put them in a bowl. Pour the whipping cream over them. Cook the bacon and put it off to the side to cool. Cut up the cabbage, but not too fine. Cut up the onion. In a little bacon grease, cook the cabbage and onion just enough to soften and give flavor. Add salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste. Crumble bacon and add to cabbage mixture.
In the baking dish, put two layers of potatoes, then spread a package of parmesan cheese evenly. Add the cabbage mixture. Add two or three layers of potatoes. Pour the whipping cream over the entire dish. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake at 375 º for 1 1/2 hours. Uncover the last 10 minutes to brown the top.
