4 c whole wheat flour
1/3 c powdered milk
3/4 tsp baking powder
1 egg (Beaten)
1 can (10oz) beef consomme
2 tsp bacon fat or margarine, or oil
1 tbsp cod liver oil (Optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients. Add remaining ingredients, Mix well and knead. Roll out into 1/2 inch thick and cut into dog bones. Place on greased cookie sheet. Prick with fork. Bake 40 minutes at 350º. Leave in oven at lowest temperature to harden (at Least 2 hours).
