1/2 cup oleo
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 sq unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg white
chopped nuts



Frosting:
2 1/4 cups powdered sugar
3 T butter, softened
2 T milk
3/4 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together oleo, sugar, egg yolk, chocolate and vanilla. Add flour and salt. Roll dough into 1 tsp size balls and dip in slightly beaten egg white. Roll balls in 3/4 cup chopped nuts. Place on baking sheet with thumbprint in center. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350º.
Frosting: Cream butter. Gradually add half of the sugar. Beat in vanilla and 1 T milk. Gradually blend in remaining sugar. Add enough milk to make of spreading consistency. Fill centers with frosting.
