Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6 pkgs (small size) of jello, 2 pkgs of the same flavor, but of 3 different flavors (ie. 2 orange, 2 lemon, 2 lime or 2 raspberry, 2 blackberry and 2 lime)
Water
2 cans of Carnation Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Choose 3 flavors of jello that the colors will complement each other, or go well with Christmas or Easter meals.
STEP 1: Dissolve 1 pkg. of jello in 3/4 cup boiling water and add 3/4 cup cold water. Pour into a pan. Refrigerate to jell.
STEP 2 : Dissolve the 2nd pkg. of jell, of the same flavor and color, in 3/4 cup of water; add 3/4 cup of carnation milk. Cool slightly so as not to dissolve the first layer when this one is poured over it. Pour cooled jello with carnation milk over the first layer that has set. Refrigerate again to set before adding the 3rd layer.
**NOTE: THE SECRET TO THE SUCCESS OF THIS COLORFUL SALAD IS TO ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE LAST LAYER IN THE PAN HAS SET BEFORE ADDING THE NEXT LAYER, AND THAT THE LAYER BEING ADDED IS COOLED (BUT NOT SET) BEFORE POURING OVER THE SET LAYER.
STEP 3: Repeat step 1 with another color and flavor of jello.
STEP 4: Repeat step 2 with the same color and flavor used in step 3.
STEP 5: Repeat step 1 with the last color and flavor of jello.
STEP 6: Repeat step 2 with the last package of jello, which will be the same as was used in step 5.

Personal Notes:
This salad takes time and patience, but is a very colorful salad that looks especially nice at Easter and Christmas. Kids love this salad. It adds lots of nice color to your holiday table if you cut individual servings and serve on small plates at each place setting. Decorate with a dollop of whipping cream. Can also add a raspberry or strawberry to each serving if you like.
