1 1/2 lbs. country-style spareribs
1 c. mushrooms
1 small pepper, cut
1 medium onion, chopped
Several drained apricots
1/2 c. flour
1 package onion soup
1 1/4 c. cold water
2 tsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. ground ginger
2 tbsp. shortening

Directions:
Directions:
1. Brown spareribs, pepper, mushrooms, and onion in 2 tbsp. shortening.
2. Add onion soup, cold water, soy sauce, ground ginger. Simmer for 40 minutes.
3. Then add some drained apricots, simmer for 10 more minutes (or until done). Thicken sauce with a little flour. Serve with rice.
