2 tbls Worstershire sauce
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp red pepper
½ tsp chili pepper
¾ cup ketchup
¾ cup water
2 tbls cider vinegar
4-5 lbs pork spareribs

Directions:
Cook spareribs uncovered in the oven for 1 hr. at 300 deg to get rid of some of the fat. Drain the fat. In a sauce pan, place the other ingredients and let simmer for about 15 min. Pour the sauce over the ribs and return to the oven - cook covered another hour at 325 deg. Check, if sauce is getting too thick, add a little water to the pan.

I sometimes use the microwave for the first cooking - 20 min. at 50% power. I also sometimes save the leftover sauce and refrigerate it to use as a base for my next batch of sauce.
