1 box dark brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
1 pound (2 sticks) real butter at room temp.
3 eggs
2 1/2 tablespoons real vanilla
5 cups white flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1- large bag chocolate chips (I like the BIG square type)

Directions:
Directions:
1) Mix with hand mixer together both sugars and butter DO NOT MELT BUTTER.
2) Add vanilla to eggs, mix well then add egg mixture to butter and sugar mixture, again mix w/ hand mixer. Set aside.
3) In separate bowl stir together all dry ingredients. Now take dry ingredients and add to egg and butter mixture, stir well by hand.
4) Add Chocolate Chips.
5) Drop by large spoonfuls onto non-greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325ºF for 10-12 minutes.
6) Remove from pan right away to keep them soft amd cool on a cooling rack or paper towel.
