1 Round steak about 1 inch thick
2 8 ounce cans tomato sauce
1 large can whole tomatoes
1 can mushrooms stems and pieces
Lawry’s season salt
salt and pepper- flour
oregano, about 1 Tablespoon
½ teaspoon chili powder
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped carrots
1 small green pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped fine

Either have steak run through tenderizer at the store once or season it with salt, pepper, seasoned salt & flour and pound it with sharp edge of butcher knife until seasonings are worked in well. If run through tenderizer at store season the same way. Cut into serving pieces, and then brown in a small amount of fat about 350º F. in frying pan until crisply brown. Add all other ingredients, stir well. Simmer at low heat 200º F. about 2 hours or until meat is extremely tender, stirring frequently.
