Directions:
I never remember to take out bread the night before to get "stale" so I experimented using frozen bread & it works just as well!

In a bowl whisk the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, & salt.

Transfer to a shallow large dish.

Melt butter in pan, when heated take the frozen sliced bread out of the freezer and lay it in the egg mixture turning several times so fully covered, tap off excess & gently lay in the buttered pan. Repeat with remaining bread. Flip after a couple mins until both sides are nicely browned. Remove to a platter & cover loosely with foil.

Toss more butter into pan along with the blueberries & strawberries and saute for 1 min. Remove fruit & toss on top of the french toast. Pour syrup on top & finally top with some powdered sugar.
