2 c. water
1 c. quick cooking oats
2 packages yeast
⅓ c. warm water
1 tbsp. salt
½ c. honey
2 tbsp. melted butter
4 to 5 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
In medium bowl pour boiling water over the oats. Let rest for 30 minutes.
Put yeast in the ⅓ cup warm water and let stand 10 minutes.
To the oats and water add salt, honey, and melted butter. Combine. Stir in yeast.
Add enough flour gradually to make dough kneadable. Knead 10 minutes (until soft, elastic and smooth).
Let rise until double in bulk (1 hour).Oatme
Punch dough down and divide in 2 loaves. Put in 8½ x 4½ size bread pans.
Bake right away until golden brown about 40-50 minutes in 325º oven.
