½ cup beer

1 pkg active dry yeast

½ cup undiluted evaporated milk

1 Tbsp sugar

1 tsp salt

2 Tbsp softened butter

2–2½ cups all-purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
Heat beer until warm; pour into mixing bowl and sprinkle with yeast. Let stand until softened.

Stir in butter and remaining ingredients. Mix well.

Turn out onto lightly floured board; knead until smooth and elastic.

Place in greased bowl, turn greased side up. Cover and let rise in warm place about 1 hour or until doubled.

Punch down and cut into 12 pieces. Shape into balls.

Place in greased 2¾" muffin pan.

Brush with melted butter and let rise 30 minutes or until light.

Bake in hot oven (425°F) about 10 minutes.

Note: Rolls can also be baked in a pan.
