1 head cabbage
2 pound ground chuck
1 egg
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup uncooked rice
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder
1 can tomato soup
1 large package sauerkraut, drain
6 - 7 strips of uncooked bacon
Ketchup

Directions:
Directions:
Boil cabbage in pot for about 10 minutes.

Remove first layer or two of cabbage -- save

Mix together ground chuck, egg, onion, rice, salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Place meat mixture inside one cabbage leaf to fill approximately 1" in all directions.

Roll cabbage and tuck ends inside the cabbage to make a roll. Repeat with remaining mixture.

Place a layer of the saved cabbage on the bottom of a dutch oven.

Layer cabbage rolls.

Mix together tomato soup and enough water to cover rolls about 1/2 way.

Put saurkraut on top.

Place bacon strips on top of the saurkraut and squeeze ketchup on top.

Bake at 350º for approximately 2 1/2 hours.
