Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1lb. ground beef
1lb. ground sausage (jimmy dean)
2 eggs room temperature
1/4 cup milk room temperature
1/4 cup A1 steak sauce
1/4 cup hienz 57
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup bbq sauce
1 med yellow onion diced and sauté Or use dehydrated minced 2 tbs
1 med bell pepper diced and sauté
1 envelope of onion soup mix
1-2 cups quick cook oatmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375ºF

Add all ingredients reserving 1 cup of the oats and mix thoroughly. Try not to over mix. Add in oats by 1/2 cup depending on how wet your meatloaf is will depend on if you will need the last 1/2 cup. If your meatloaf is looking a little dry do not add the rest of the oats. Also if your meat loaf can form a loaf without falling apart you have plenty of oats. Use a 9x13 deep baking dish. You can top your meatloaf with some ketchup or even tomato soup for an extra touch of flavor before baking. Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake at least 1 hour checking the temp. Once your meatloaf reaches 165ºF it is done.
Remove the meatloaf from the baking dish so it doesn't absorb the grease. Slice and serve.

Personal Notes:
This recipe is pretty easy to make. It was the first meal I ever made for my family when I was 10 years old. My mother wrote down her recipe and asked me to try and make dinner. It turned out to be very good. I have many people who said they hated meatloaf, but actually like the recipe. If you don't have all the sauces I have substituted with a pack of McCormicks meatloaf seasoning mix.
