Aldi's Pork Schnitzel with Wine/Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients: 6 Pork Schnitzel Patties 5 Tbsp. Of Butter 8 oz. of White Mushrooms, Sliced ¼ Cup of White or Red Wine 2 Cloves of Garlic, minced 1 Tsp of red pepper flakes 2 Tsp Parsley 1 large onion cut into thin Slices 2 Packages of Brown Gravy 1 Large Lemon (I never had 1 around) Black Pepper to taste Seasoned Salt to taste
4-5 Medium Yukon Taters to Mash

Directions:Peel and slice Taters into ¼” slices. Put into Large Saucepan with Water to cover. Add Salt. Cook until tender then mash, cover and set aside.
Prepare 2 Packages of Brown Gravy.
Prep Onion, Garlic Mushrooms. Heat 3 Tbsp. of Butter in a large Pan over medium heat. Add Schnitzel and brown on each side for 3-4 minutes. Remove from Pan.
Add 2 Tbsp. of Butter and heat the Onion Slices until softened then add the Mushrooms. Add the Garlic, Salt, Pepper and Pepper Flakes. Heat thru then add Wine and reduce by half and Mushrooms are soft.
Add Gravy and heat thru. Spoon over Schnitzel and Taters. |
