Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 c. milk
2 eggs
2 tsp. salt
2 pkgs. dry yeast such as rapid rise
¼ c. melted shortening
½ c. sugar
6-7 c. of flour

Topping-
1½ c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
½ c. chopped walnuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Scald the milk then add shortening to melt shortening in hot milk.
In a bowl (I use my big mixer) mix sugar and eggs.
Next add the milk and shortening, then cool to lukewarm.
In a small bowl dissolve the yeast (I use rapid rise) in 1/4 cup just warm water then add to cooled milk mixture.
Add salt, then the flour a little bit at a time, until sticky. (Half way through adding flour I switch to the dough hook of my mixer)
Put dough on a floured surface and knead.
Then place in large greased bowl.
Let rise till doubled.
Knead again on a floured surface.
Cut 1" of dough and roll into balls in your hands then dip balls 1st into a bowl of melted butter then into 2nd bowl of sugar, cinnamon and chopped nuts mixture.
Put each ball into a greased angel food pan (2 rings of rolls on bottom then 2nd layer of two rings on top. I usually have extra balls and put them in a loaf pan).
Let rise until double in size.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350º. Cool only slightly then turn upside down onto a plate or foil.
