1 lb sweet Italian sausage
1 lb hamburger (Wagyu is delicious)
1 small onion
4 cloves of garlic

Sauce:
Grammy Di Nola's pasta sauce
or
1 can crushed San Marzano tomatoes
2 cans San Marzano tomato sauce
2 cans tomato paste
parsley
basil
Italian seasoning
2 T sugar
sea salt
fresh ground pepper

Cheese Mixture:
1 lb ricotta
1 egg
parsley
sea salt

Shredded Parmesano Reggiano cheese
Shredded mozzarella cheese
1 lb lasagna noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onion and garlic in EVOO and add beef until browned. Add tomato sauce.
Cook lasagna noodles to el dente.
Layer starting with meat sauce on the bottom. ricotta mixture next, sprinkle shredded parmesano reggiano and shredded mozzarella, and finally lasagna noodles.
Repeat laying until all layers are finished.
Top with parmesan and mozzarella.
Cook at 375º covered in aluminum foil for 20 minutes, 20 minutes without aluminum foil (longer if needed to get the cheese brown and gooey)!

Serve with warm garlic bread or focaccia!
