Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups Cornmeal Mix
Very Hot Tap Water

Directions:
Directions:
Place cornmeal mix in a bowl. Add very hot tap water, enough to make it very runny. Place grease (I use Canola Oil) in a large skillet (iron skillet preferred). Heat oil until very hot and cornmeal will sizzle when added. Add mix to skillet with a spoon, drizzling in a "lace" pattern, like a doily. When mix bubbles like pancakes, and bottom appears brown, flip over and brown other side. Sprinkle lightly with salt while hot. Place on paper towels to absorb some of the oil.

Personal Notes:
Christine would often get creative in the kitchen. I still remember the time she hosted us for dinner and had just created this recipe. She was very excited for us to try them, and to tell us how she had made them. They were very pretty and yummy too! She was the hostess with the mostest.
