Cook the Things

1 (32oz) bag frozen pierogies

1lb smoked kielbasa, sliced into ½ inch pieces

Butter or avocado oil

Directions:
Heat up a pan to medium-high. Make sure the pan is large enough to add all the ingredients or use two different pans. Heat up the butter or avocado oil. Working in batches, fry the pierogies until golden brown. Set aside.

Working in batches, fry the kielbasa until the edges get crispy. Set aside. (You can put them in the same bowl.)
 

Make the Sauce

2 c shredded cheddar cheese

8 oz cream cheese, whipped cream cheese melts faster

2 c chicken broth

½ c sour cream

2 Tbsp Butter for the sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp smoked paprika

Salt and Pepper to taste

Heat the pan to low. Add butter, cream cheese, and broth. Stir until smooth. Add the sour cream and cheese. Stir, stir, stir!

Add garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.


In a large-ish pot, combine pierogis, kielbasa, and sauce. Heat the pan to medium, stirring often, to ensure the pierogis and kielbasa are warm. Eat it up, YUM!!
 

Crockpot Instructions

Grease the Crockpot with butter or use a liner. Add frozen pierogi's and kielbasa in layers. Sprinkle half the cheese on top.

Make the sauce, leaving out the sour cream until ready to eat.

Cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.

Before serving, stir in sour cream and top with remaining cheese. Let the cheese melt for about 5 minutes.
