1 pkg. dry Yeast
¼ c. warm Water
2½ c. Flour
½ tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Salt
⅛ c. Sugar
½ c. Shortening
1 c. Buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water, set aside.
Mix the dry ingredients in order given, cutting in the shortening.
Stir in the buttermilk and yeast mixture.
Blend thoroughly.
Dough is ready to refrigerate or roll into biscuits.
When you're ready to bake - roll out onto a floured board and knead lightly.
Place in a greased pan.
Let dough rise slightly before baking in a 400º oven for 12 to 15 minutes.

Will keep in refrigerator up to three days in a covered bowl.
