Sift together in bowl, 1¾ cup whole wheat flour, ¼ cup sugar, 2½ tsp. baking powder, and ¾ tsp. salt.
Make well in center.
Combine 1 well-beaten egg, ¾ cup milk and ⅓ cup oil.
Add all at once to dry ingredients.
Stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
Stir in 1 cup mashed bananas and ½ cup chopped nuts.
Fill greased 2'' teacake baking pans ⅔ full.
Bake at 400º about ten to twelve minutes.
