Ingredients:  
1 lb. halibut chunks-cut into 1" strips and soaked for several hours in milk.

1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup beer
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 tsp baking powder
1egg -slightly beaten
salt and pepper.


Directions:
Directions:
Blend flour, cornstarch, and baking powder. Add egg and slowly add the beer. Let rest 1-2 hours. Wash and drain fish. Pat dry. Dip fish into batter. Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
