Two cans of sliced red beets with liquid.
One cup of water
1/2 cup of white vinegar
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
Two dozen of hard boiled eggs

Directions:

Mix everything together and taste. Add more vinegar or sugar to taste. Turn periodically to color evenly make at least 24 hours in advance.
