10 pounds or 2 gallons of blackberries, sorted, washed, and drained
8 pounds sugar
1 package dry yeast
15 pints water 1 cup brandy

Directions:
Directions:
Put berries in 5 gallon crock and crush well. Boil sugar and water 5 minutes and let cool before adding to the berries. Mix well and then add yeast. Stir twice a day for 7 days, making sure no fruit flies get into the wine. Strain and put in clean bottles. Put balloons on bottles until wine quits working, approximately 10 days. Siphon clear wine off and add 1 cup brandy. Bottle and seal.
