1 or 2 cucumbers, thinly sliced
2 small onions thinly sliced
up to 1 tsp. salt
up to 1 tsp. sugar
pinch of paprika

Directions:

1. Thinly slice the cucumbers into rings
2. Cut the onion lengthwise (from the top to bottom), then thinly slice the onions into half-moon rings
3. Sprinkle with salt and sugar to taste.
4. Sprinkle some paprika, and mix all together.
5. Let it sit in the fridge for 4 (four) hours before serving.

This is a basic cucumber salad recipe. You can easily double this recipe, change the way you cut the cucumbers and onions and add different spices: dill, red pepper flakes, cumin, etc. Just remember to let it sit for a few hours to let the flavors meld together.
