10 ears of corn ( cut two clippings and then scrape cob)
1 stick butter
1 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
2 to 3 T. cornstarch
2/3 c. heavy cream

Directions:
Directions:
Place corn in large skillet and cover with water.
Add 1 stick butter and bring to a boil over high heat, careful to avoid burning.
Add salt and pepper.
Mix cornstarch and heavy cream and blend with whisk until no lumps are present.
Add to corn, reduce heat and cook for about 5 minutes.
If needed rinse bowl where you had the cream and corn starch with about 1/2 to 1 cup milk and add to corn. Cook until well blended.
