1 pound ground sausage
2 thinly sliced apples
2 T butter
10 eggs
4 cups milk
2/3 cup maple syrup
1 tsp nutmeg
1 loaf French or Italian bread

Directions:
Directions:
Spray 10 inch casserole dish. Cube bread and add to dish. Saute apple in butter until softened, set aside. Add sausage to pan and cook until browned.. Cover bread cubes with apples and browned sausage. Beat eggs until light and fluffy. Beat in milk, syrup and nutmeg.

Pour milk mixture over bread, apples and sausage in casserole. Cove and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake, uncovered, 55-60 minutes.
