1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 well beaten eggs
3 ripe mashed bananas
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees

Grease and flour loaf pan

Cream sugar and shortening
Add eggs and mix well
Add bananas and vanilla and mix well
Add flour, soda, cinnamon and salt and beat until well blended
Add nuts and stir
Bake for 1 hour until bread starts to pull away from Pan
