8 oz cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
4 oz Cool Whip
½ cup light brown sugar
3 Tbsp butter
⅓ cup light corn syrup
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium mixing bowl, blend together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and Cool Whip with an electric mixer until smooth. Spread the mixture into a pie plate or serving dish.

Combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, egg, pecans, vanilla extract, and salt in a saucepan. Heat the pecan mixture on medium heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil.
Boil for 1 minute then remove from heat. Cool for 10 minutes then pour over the cream cheese layer.
