2½ cups sugar
1/2 cup white corn syrup
1/2 cup water
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 egg whites

Combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and salt. Cook in microwave on high for 13 minutes. Meanwhile, beat egg whites until peaks form. Add mixture to egg whites, slowly, while continuously beating until hard candy stage. Add vanilla, nuts, and drop onto waxed paper.
