Ingredients: 1 package crescent roll dough 1 can apple pie filling 1 tablespoon white sugar 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 cup butter melted

Directions:Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Stir together the white sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside.

Pour half the melted butter into the bottom of a baking dish and set the remaining butter aside.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and place 2-3 apple slices on the bottom of each triangle.
Roll up the dough around the apple slices and place each crescent in the buttered dish.
Brush the rolls with the remaining butter and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake in the oven for 18 to 22 minutes, until the crescent rolls are golden brown. Or air fry at 320 degrees F for 8-10 minutes
Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes: Don’t overfill the dumplings. Overfilling the dumplings can cause them to leak or burst open in the oven, which is a sticky mess nobody wants to deal with.
Brushing the dumplings with melted butter and sprinkling them with cinnamon sugar gives them that gorgeous golden-brown color and irresistible flavor, so don’t skip it.
These dumplings are best served fresh from the oven while still warm and gooey.
Leftovers will not be quite the same as fresh ones.
