2 lbs ground beef, 80-85% lean
2 large eggs
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup onion
1 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup Italian style breadcrumbs

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix using your hand.
2. Roll meatballs to the size of a large egg, about 3 oz in weight.
3. Line a baking sheet with foil, evenly space the meatballs on the sheet.
4. Set the oven rack to the lower-middle position.
5. Broil on high and cook the meatballs until browned, about 10 minutes.
6. Turn over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
7. Add meatballs to tomato sauce.
8. Simmer on low heat for at least 1-1/2 hours, checking and stirring every 20 minutes, or as needed.

Whenever I make these, I don't put them in the sauce so I actually don't broil them. I cook them at around 375º, for about 10 minutes, then flip and cook them an additional 10 minutes. But if you're going to have spaghetti and meatballs, you'll probably want to broil them like the recipe says.
