3 C. sugar
3 C. All Purpose Flour
3/4 tsp. Baking Powder
6 Large eggs
1/2 C. Buttermilk
1 C. Butter at room temperature
1/2 C. Crisco
1/2 tsp. Vanilla Flavoring
1/2 tsp. Almond Flavoring
1/4 tsp. yellow food coloring (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, crisco, and sugar. Add eggs one a time, beating after each addition. Sift together flour and baking powder.
Add Flour and milk alternating between the two. Add flavorings and food coloring last.
Pour into well greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 and 1/2 hours to 2 hours. Depending on oven. Bake until cake tester comes out clean.
