Candy Bar Pound Cake

8 13 oz. Milky Way candy bars
1 C. butter
2 C. sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 C. sifted flour (all-purpose)
1/2 Tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 C. buttermilk
1 Tsp. vanilla
1 C. chopped nuts

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
 
Combine candy bars and 1/2 cup of the butter in a saucepan, melt over low heat. Cream sugar with remaining 1/2 cup butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir together flour and baking soda. Add alternately with buttermilk, stirring until smooth. Add melted candy, mix well. Stir in the vanilla and nuts. Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan and bake for 60 to 70 minutes. Cool and frost with candy icing.

2 C. sifted confectioners' sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Milk

Melt candy bars in butter. Add sugar and vanilla. Blend in just enough milk to make for spreading consistency.
