1/2-pound Italian sausage
1/2-pound ground beef
1 clove garlic (optional)
1/2 t salt
1/2 cup dry red wine (optional)
2 16 oz. jars spaghetti sauce
1 6 oz. can tomato paste
1 16 oz. lasagna noodles
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 cups ricotta cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 T parsley
dash pepper
1 pound thinly sliced mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat. Drain fat. Add garlic, salt and wine. Simmer 3-5 minutes. Stir in sauce and paste. Cook, stirring occasionally for 10-15 minutes.

Boil lasagna noodles.

Combine eggs, ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley, and pepper. Blend well.

Grease a 9 x 13" pan.

Layer in pan noodles, cheese mixture, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat. Save enough sauce mixture to pour over the top. Finish by topping with mozzarella cheese. Bake in 350-degree oven for 30 minutes.
