2-pound bag frozen hash browns
1 cup chopped onion
8 oz. shredded cheddar (reserve some)
10 oz. can cream of chicken soup
1 stick melted margarine
1 T seasoned salt
16 oz. sour cream
potato chips, crushed

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together ingredients.

Place in 9x13 inch pan and sprinkle extra cheddar on top. Sprinkle potato chips on top.

Cover with foil.

Cook 1 hour at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove foil and cook an additional 15 minutes.

Funny family story. I brought these "Party" potatoes to Easter dinner years ago and Aunt Kathy commented on how much she loves this "Funeral" potato recipe.
