Prepare Duncan Hines Devil's Food cake mix as directed on box. Bake in 3 layers.

1 1/2 C. sugar
1/3 C. water
2 egg whites
2 Tsp. light corn syrup
1 Tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in a double boiler. Cook on medium heat, while using hand mixer to blend for 7 minutes. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and beat 3 minutes until forms peak.

Frost cooled layers then drizzle around top edges with chocolate. (melt chocolate with a dash of Crisco)
