1 lb bulk Italian pork sausage
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
3 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp basil
1 tsp sugar
2 cups canned diced tomatoes, undrained
15 oz tomato sauce
12 uncooked lasagna noodles
15 oz ricotta cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tsp oregano
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the sausage, onion, and garlic together over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sausage is done.
Stir in 2 Tbsp parsley, the basil, sugar, tomatoes, and tomato sauce.
Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes.
Cook and drain the noodles as directed.
Combine the ricotta, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, the remaining parsley, and the oregano.
Spread 1 cup sauce into a 13x9x2-inch glass baking dish and top with 4 noodles.
Spread with 1 cup cheese mixture, then 1 cup sauce, and sprinkle with 2/3 cup mozzarella.
Repeat with 4 more noodles, the remaining cheese mixture, 1 cup sauce, and 2/3 cup mozzarella.
Top with the remaining noodles and sauce, then sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
Cover and bake at 350º for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake 15 minutes more.
