1 lb. box light brown sugar
3 TSBP. all purpose four
5 oz. evaporated milk
1 c. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and flour together in a heavy sauce pan. Mix with a wisp to remove all lumps making sure its well blended. Add milk and butter. Cook on med. heat stirring frequently with a wood spoon to prevent sticking to pot or burning. After mixture begins to boil, cook for additional 2 minutes. Remove from heat, cool slightly and spread on layers.
If making 10 thin cake layers, may need to double recipe.
