1 c. warm water
1/3 c. sugar or 3 tbsp. honey
2 1/2 tsp. active yeast
3 c. bread flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. oil or melted butter
1/2 c. sourdough discard
1/4 c. (60g) sliced jalapenos
4 oz. shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
In a medium to large bowl, mix the warm water and sugar or honey. Stir until dissolved. Add yeast, let stand 10 minutes. Add flour, salt, oil or butter and discard to yeast mixture. Mix 10 minutes. Add the jalapenos and cheese into the dough. Cover for 1 hour. Roll out and shape in loaf pan. Let rise 1 hour. Bake at 350º for 25-35 minutes. (It usually takes 35 minutes.) Let rest for 1 hour.
