Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 cup soft butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar- sifted
1 tsp vanilla
2 & 1/4 cup sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup chopped nuts- pecans or walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400- 450º

In large mixer bowl cream butter and then sift in powdered sugar until light and fluffy/ 5-7 minutes. Beat in vanilla

Combine flour and salt and gradually add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir in chopped nuts. Chill dough

Form dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased /parchment lined cookie sheets. Bake until set. Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar. Cool completely on racks. Roll again in powdered sugar.

This recipe is the same as Cindy Leivestad's Pecan Dainties but she bakes at 350º.for 8-10 minutes. I like it better, as it gives minutes to cook!
