2 T. butter softened
1c. sugar, less 3 T.
dash of salt
6 eggs
1 pint and 2 T. half and half
1 unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar and salt by using medium speed on electric mixer. Add 3 eggs, beat one minute; change to high speed and add 3 eggs. Beat 3 minutes. Remove from mixer and add half and half. Pour into uncooked crust and cook 10 minutes at 450º. Turn heat down to 325º and bake 25 minutes longer or until set. If desired, sprinkle top with nutmeg just before baking. Don't overcook.
