1 lb ground beef
1 packet French onion soup mix (I use the one from Pinch Spice Market it is organic)
Minced Dried Onion
BTB Beef Bouillon
Fond Beef Bone Broth
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (+extra to sprinkle when serving)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
2 large onions, thinly sliced
24 oz Fond Beef Bone Broth- whole jar
1/2 cup red wine (optional)
1 tablespoon Organic Worcestershire sauce
4 Garlic Cloves – rough chopped
Season Salt to taste
Friends and Family Spices from Pinch to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh thyme – 4 Sprigs
1 Sprig Fresh Rosemary

1. Meatball Mixture: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, French onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Parmesan, big scoop of BTB, Splash of Worcestershire, Good shake of Minced Onion. Form into meatballs.

2. Brown Meatballs: Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides, then transfer to the slow cooker. Add more oil and butter if needed.

3. Caramelize Onions: In the same skillet, cook onions until caramelized, about 20-30 minutes. Add to slow cooker on top of meatballs.

4. Prepare Gravy: Mix beef broth (BTB) into the Bone Broth , red wine (if using), and Worcestershire sauce, Sprigs of Thyme and Rosemary. Bring to a boil and let simmer for about 15 minutes to soak up the herbs. Pour over meatballs and onions in the slow cooker.

5. Cook: Set slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Season with salt and pepper.

6. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with fresh thyme before serving.
