2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 TBSP sugar
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1/4 cup water
1 TBSP yeast
1 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
cornmeal for top and bottom
Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt and soda.
Heat milk and water until very warm (120º - 130º degrees)
Add to dry mixture. Beat well. Stir in more flour to make sticky batter.
Grease loaf pan and dust with cornmeal. Spoon dough into pan.
Sprinkle top with cornmeal. Cover and let rise (30 - 45 min)
Bake at 400º for 25 min. Immediately remove from pan.
