8 oz cream cheese, softened
loaf of raisin bread
8 eggs
2 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup maple syrup
3/4 stick butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Spread the cream cheese over half of the bread slices, then top with the remaining bread.
Cut into cubes and place into a lightly greased 13x9-inch baking dish.
Combine the eggs, milk, syrup, and melted butter.
Pour the mixture over the bread cubes, then press down to soak all of the bread cubes.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Uncover, bring to room temperature, and bake 350º for 45 minutes, until the bread cubes are puffed and heated through.
Cool slightly and cut into squares to serve.
