"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I actually made this recipe up myself and it is really close to what I remember it tasting like when I was a young girl. This apple salad is what I remember as a child when the Dickerson family would be together for Christmas or Thanksgiving. I've learned since that my mother got this recipe from my Grandma Swartzentruber. I don't remember ever eating it in those family gatherings. But I sure remember Grandma Dickerson making it.
