6 T very soft butter
1/4 c honey
1/2 t kosher salt
1 t fresh thyme or 1/3 t dry
1 baguette, sliced into 1/3- 1/2" slices ( about 30)
2 ripe pears quartered, cored and thinly sliced
1/2 c fresh crumbled goat cheese
4 slices cooked and crumbled bacon

Heat oven to 350º. Line a baking sheet with parchement paper or use a silicone pad. In a small bowl mix the honey, butter, salt and thyme. Spread a bit of the mixture over each slice of baguette. Bake for 5-8 until the edges are lightly browned. Cool. Top each toast with one or two pear slices a bit of the goat cheese crumbles and sprinkle with the bacon. Serve hot or room temp.
