1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup butter or oleo
1 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
4 cups +4 T. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tswp. cream of tartar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º
Cream sugars well with butter and oil. Add rest of ingredients. Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar.
Line cooky sheet with parchment and place cooky ball on sheet. Flatten each with a sugar dipped glass bottom.
Bake 10 minutes until just golden.

We renamed Ruths sugar cookies after Emma (at 4 or 5 yrs old) wanted to make some "Human" cookies! When asked what that was, she said "the cookies that you make at home and don't get at the store like Oreos!"
