1 cup butter
2 cups light brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp Vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
3 cups quick rolled oates - uncooked

Fudge Nut Filling
1 12 oz pkg semisweet Choco Chips
1 c Sweetened condensed milk
2 tbs butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup Chopped Nuts
2 tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, sugar and mix in eggs and vanilla. Add flour soda and salt. Stir in rolled oats. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Set aside while you make filling.

Filling: In the microwave, mix together choc pieces, sweetened condensed milk. butter and salt. Stir until mixture us smooth. Stir in nuts and vanilla.

Spread about 2/3 of oatmeal mixture in bottom of greased 9x13 pan. Cover with chocolate mixture. Dot with remaining oatmeal mixture and swirl it over chocolate filling.

Bake at 350º 25 to 30 min or until lightly browned.

This was my Mom's recipe. She would make it for Christmas for the family to enjoy. I usually make it at Christmas and again in the summer for camping trips.
