Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, softemes
½ cup granulated sugar
2 cups all purpose flour
¼ tsp salt

Preheat the oven to 350°.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Gradually add the all-purpose flour and salt to the creamed mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
Use cookie cutters to cut the dough into desired shapes.
Place the cookies on an ungreased baking sheet, leaving a little space between each cookie.
Prick the tops of the cookies with a fork to create decorative designs.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
