1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg yolk
2 cups flour
¼ tsp. salt
2 cups chocolate chips
½ cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Mix brown sugar, butter, vanilla, and egg yolk.
Stir in flour and salt.
Press in greased 13x9 pan.
Bake 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Immediately pour chocolate chips on the crust.
Let stand until chocolate becomes soft, and spread evenly.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Cut into bars about 2 x 1½ inches while warm.
